What type of sessions do you provide? 

I primarily provide sessions for seniors and families. Each year I also do take a limited amount of weddings.

When can I expect to see our photos? 

Your online album will be emailed to you within 2 weeks of your session. I understand that you are excited to see your photos as much as I am excited to show them to you because I am excited to share them with you. 

Why does it take so long to get my photos back? 

I, like you have a family and I designate certain hours of the day to work and certain hours to be with my family. Although the photographs are digital, they still go through a structured workflow. I take my time and go over each photo individually.

Can I print digital files off at places such as "walmart" or "cvs"? 

Yes and no.  You will have reprint rights however I recommend having your portraits printed through www.mpix.com.

How can I book a session with you?

Email me or use contact tab to get in contact with me. I require the deposit to be paid at booking in order to reserve your date, once that is done we will then discuss location and all the fun details of your session! 

Do you offer Digital files?

Yes.

Do you travel outside of Espanola, NM

Yes I do! If you are more than 25 miles out of 87522 I do charge a travel fee. 

Where can I have my session?

I am up for just about anything! I love in home sessions as well as sessions in the great outdoors.  Make a suggestion and I am sure we can make it happen!

Do you offer Cake Smash Sessions? 

I offer outdoor cake smash sessions! Cake Smash sessions are one of my favorites! Due to food allergies, parents are responsible for providing the cake.

Will I receive a copyright release?
No, I do not and will not release copyrights to any of the works I produce. A copyright release is a document stating that someone is allowed to use copyrighted material, thus removing the photographer’s ownership of the image. I do grant limited print releases which allows the named person(s) on this release to make as many prints from the digital files as desired, for personal use only. No images created by Kandice Nikole can be used for commercial use or financial gain. If you are interested in a commercial license, please contact me for further information.

Can I edit my purchased digital files?
No, you may not edit, re-edit, or manipulate digital files that are purchased or received as a free items based on your total order. I’ve taken great strides in preparing your files/images in the manner of the style that fits my artistic vision. Not only that, but these files/images are copyrighted works of art and therefore are protected under the Federal Copyright Law.

What should we wear?

Clothing choice is always the biggest decision when planning your session. Avoid large logos, bright colors or clothing that may take the focus off of you. Flowy dresses, textures and muted colors always photograph perfectly. 

Is there anything I should know before scheduling a session?
Before scheduling your session it is important that you have taken time to look through my website. By looking through my recent sessions on my website, Instagram or Facebook, you can get a feel for my photography style. It’s also important to have an understanding of my session pricing.

Can you hold my date without a deposit?
Unfortunately, no. I require a non-refundable session fee to reserve your date. If your session fee is not paid within 48 hours of booking your session, I will cancel the electronic invoice and the date we discussed will no longer be available to you.

Who should I bring?
Please bring only the person(s) who will be photographed in your session. Extra people are distractions, especially for little ones. With children I prefer to work one-on-one. I will often ask that the parents sit back and relax so I can have your child’s full attention. It’s much easier for them to give me their best natural smile when I’m being silly than when mom and dad are begging (or sometimes threatening!) at the same time behind me. I’m a pretty goofy person so with a little bit of humiliating myself, those adorable giggles tend to come out!

Will my images be posted on social networking sites?
Yes (unless you prefer not), some of the images or sneak peeks will be posted on Facebook, Instagram, etc.

What if I don’t like the prints or something is wrong with my order?
The quality of your prints depends on where you print your photos.  The photos I release are high resolution and you are responsible printing your photos.  I recommend www.mpix.com.

Do you charge tax?

As a legitimate business owner I am subject to charging a sales tax fee which is not included in the price you see.
